First Friday Forum

June 7, 2019 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm PDT

Clinical Conversations (Ethics themed)

Richard Meeks, MA. LMHC, is a therapist in private practice and one of the PSAS Board members.  He also teaches at Antioch University.

Clinical Discussions will include: challenges in doing therapy, as well as what makes an “Ethical” Psychotherapeutic Relationship?

Friday, July 19th, 2019, 7:30 – 9:30+ p.m.  The PSAS Board meets 6:15 – 7:15 p.m.  Please time your arrival accordingly.

In this spectacular month of July, 2019, the Board had decided to make special arrangement and host the Forum not on the regular first Friday, but on July 19–due to the 4th of July national holiday, as well as the Positive Discipline Association’s Annual Conference which will be held on July 12th here in Seattle (yay!)

Free.  Ethics CE fees are $10/hr. for members, $15/hr. for others, if needed. Donations are also welcome.

Everyone is welcome.  All of our First Friday Forums are not only for mental-health professionals but also for the rest of us… parents, teachers, and community members who care about connecting and supporting one another.  As Adler said, “The science of the mind can have for its proper goal the understanding of human nature by every human being . . . and peace for every human soul.”

Space is limited, so kindly RSVP to psasadler@gmail.com.
